our roots
The Story of Steve and his Plant - Est. 1974 - Legacy Grower
In an ever-changing time very similar to the prohibition of alcohol in Canada in the 1920s, cannabis was dawning on a new era… Legalization. In their search for somewhere to lay their roots, Ten-Ten found a building formerly used for the creation of Canadian Club Rye Whiskey, the Hiram Walker building in Lake Country, BC. Fittingly following in the footsteps of the prohibition era the building was a perfect fit for the new venture and became the location of Ten-Ten’s new home.
humble beginnings
The building is left empty for countless years, and needless to say, needed some work. Walls were torn down, walls were put up, and the environment was transformed with Steve’s vision in mind. It had to be just right, it had to be perfect, in order to be the new home for Ten-Ten. As Steve always says “it always will be and always has started with the plant, without the plant nothing grows.”

A dream finally becomes a reality. After three years of ups and downs, of lefts and rights, victories and defeats, finally, the day came when a flower was formed. On February 28th of 2020, on a rare leap year, Ten-Ten obtained their official license from Health Canada for cultivation. The moment finally came after years and years of trials and tribulations, the dream to keep his company private and grow the way he wanted to was here. Finally, Steve can share his love with him and his plant with the world.

Growing
Small room philosophy and customized fertigation programs allow for complete control over all growing variables, ensuring consistent quality products. This approach maximizes our plant growth potential.
Curing
We use 2 large Auto Cure Chambers in our curing process, using a custom system that enables us to use pressure and vapor to control the curing of the flower. All are designed to lock in the terpenes and hit maximum THC and CBD output per plant.
Trimming
Ten-Ten sets the standard in care for the flower as we try to never touch buds while trimming. We hand trim all large and medium-sized flowers in our trimming process for a detailed and perfect presentation, flower by flower.
Protection
All of our cannabis is rigorously checked and quality controlled for the highest quality of product to ensure the absolute best end consumer premier cannabis experience. We only accept one type of quality; ten out of ten.

Established grower since 1974 Steve Smith brings a wealth of knowledge to Ten-Ten. A passionate, experienced, and accomplished team with many years of real-world experience with cannabis cultivation under personal ACMPR licenses and a proven track record of achieving high production yields. As well, as many years of experience in the fresh produce industry. With innovative thoughts, ideas, and plans coming from a wealth of experience, Ten-Ten’s brand extension emergence will be significant.
HANDCRAFTED
The smaller facility allows for more attention to the cannabis growing rooms. Hand crafted and cared for our yields and plants are higher and happier as a direct result. Our plants are the most vital cog of the business and they are treated this way throughout our process. The small rooms all provide the ability to control the rooms’ temperature, climate, and grow conditions to suit the cultivar’s needs.

The attention to detail and the constant implementation of our proven standard of procedures show up in our consistently superior products.
